I had my 1st professional photoshoot ytd!! (((((:

i went for a trial photoshoot 2 days back and *ring ring*, i got a call ytd noon and was selected to go down for a real photoshoot at 2.30pm! i was soooooo excited!! i had only 1 hr to do a full makeup lo!! it was so rush lo. -.- anyways, i took a cab down ($8.20!!!!!!!!) and hang arnd there for 45mins doing nthin. haha. the shoot started arnd 3plus ‘cos the photographer gotta set up the lightings and what’s not. the whole shoot ended at 7pm. i changed like 20 or more outfits? and the worst part is that i changed to outfits which had the same design but jst diff prints. -.-” it was tiring cos i gotta run up & down the stairs to change. ))): well, the photoshoots were an experience for me ‘tho. at least i noe how those blogshops did their photoshoots… i did tried out diff poses, posing the best tt i can. photographer somewhat liked it and commented that i’m worth more than what i am. (: BUT……. he asked me not to grow any fatter!!! OMG! i totally knew what he’s driving at la! i have elephant thunder thighs & big arms. even running & gymming do not tone and work on me. ): plus, my face acne is really unsightly. professional photoshoots tend to capture all the tiny weeny little details, from your eyebags to wrinkles to ur scars etc. for me, i have ALL of the above!! scars, acne, dark eye circles, wrinkles. *sobx* i alr tried my best in covering my acne scars and outbreaks with 2 layers of foundation but i guess it’s still not good enough, cos even me without my specs i can see my own imperfections, what’s more to say for the photographer and others? hai…. the photographer or the blogshop owner must have disliked me for making ‘em do the extra work in touching up my face and body scars. i doubt they will use me again for their future photoshoots. ): it’s alright, at least i have a wonderful experience in trying on clothes and professional shooting. (: lastly, i’m not paid yet!! ):

oh, and i went for a job interview 2 days back. i was asked to do a short self-intro video clip and well, i didn’t rehearse anything beforehand so it was really impromptu. i had a few NGs and i guess i did my best ba. I smiled as I talked abt my personality, hobbies/interest & asking ‘em to gimme a chance to work for ‘em. not bad eh? haha. and they took a few snapshots of me after tt. i went for waxing at suntec too & i was told by the therapist that i have nice and smooth legs, and i must take good care of it! muahahaha!! this is the 1st time i was told such things!

and, my boy & I went Minori @ UE Square for dinner too! $33++ per pax. not bad la the food. still can improve. we ate there for abt 1.5hrs. my boy ate sushi till he’s sooooooooooo bloated and he totally HATE japanese food to the max from then onwards. he asked me NEVER EVER to ask him to eat jap food again! ))): sorry darling!!!!!!! we try western food next okay? hehehe. :p

psst. Senki Japanese Restaurant offers better quality food imo! and it’s priced arnd the same range as Minori. It’s located along KillineyRoad and I would very much love to have dinner there soon!

okays, so my previous post i mentioned tt im gonna lay my hands on contact lenses, mascara & cutting my fringe right?

i did what i wanted ‘tho, except for getting the majolica frame plus mascara. instead, i gotten myself Revlon liquid eyeliner in black & some brand cleansing serum. it cost me $33.01 in total. tt’s not it! i’ve been given a $9 voucher for my next purchase too ‘cos as long as one’s purchase is over $30, one will be given a voucher in accordance to their purchase amt. so if u spent $100, it jst means higher amount for the voucher? like $20 or even $30?? ((: so being the cheapo i always am, i used the voucher straight to get dove hair repair serum & topped up $0.85 to get 1 box of cotton bud. haha. cheap ehh? btw, this is held in conjunction with the GSS! so go to John Little outlets & get ur needs & wants now!! (((:

oh, and did i mentioned that the cleansing serum i bought from John Little sucks for me? and it cost me $16.90! i can use this amt to buy me my trustworthy biore cleansing oil and get back an additional $1! -.-” i jst used it ytd night to remove my bb cream, and low & behold, the back of the cleansing serum mentioned that it requires no water, jst cotton wool to swipe away all my makeup traces and there’s no need for double cleansing, ‘cos if u do wash ur face again with a cleanser, you’ll be wiping away the moisturizing ingredients of the cleansing serum. seriously, the texture of the cleansing serum is as light as water, which is good for oily skin types like mine. but somehow, i dun feel comfortable using it ‘cos i’m always used to having white emulsion on my face after adding a few drops of water to my cleansing oil. perhaps, this cleansing serum is for busy/lazy ladies who jst want simple makeup remover plus skincare properties all in one. this one is jst a big NOOOOOOOOOOO for me. i’m gonna get Biore cleansing oil lata!!!! never ever gonna use other brandless cleansing oil again!!

i went to this salon called Xclusive at Far East for a fringe cut. the lady is a ‘lil stuck up imo. dun like her attitude. although the cut was fine, nthin much for me to wow abt, i’m definitely nt gg back dere anymore. and, i think i’m gonna cut my fringe again. this time, i want it shorter, jst above my eyes. (: it’s only been a mere 4 days to my last fringe cutting, but it’s getting long and it’s covering my eyes when i sweep it to one side. since i’ll be heading over to my boy’s hse lata for gym & tennis, perhaps i shld jst make an appt with De Vella for fringe cutting. the salon is rather raved in forums leh. the price? $5 ba i guess. (:

and my face is breaking out again. ): this time in painful cysts on my cheeks, forehead and chin. big and small alike. )): i reckon this must be caused by DRs. Secret skincare set. i’ve been using it (no.1 – no.5) since 14th June last week and til date, my skin has not shown any improvement but only breakouts very single day since then. ): the pdts claim to give radiance to the skin and to clear pigmentation, spots & blemishes. but there has been many reviews saying that one will experience peeling, dryness, redness and even purging for acne-prone/oily skin during the initial periods of 1-3 weeks. )): since i’ve only been using it for a week, i do still believe in this brand ‘tho. i will give it another mth or so for results, otherwise, i will never return to this brand again.

oh, and my boy’s commissioning ball was wonderful imo. the food was nt bad, except for the scallop dish!!! other than tt, the pple, the program line-up and the food makes this event a memorable one. we took quite a lot of photos, and i jst uploaded ‘em onto facebook nt long ago. i spent 3 hrs trying to upload only 76 photos!!!! i seriously wanted to throw my laptop away. it SUCKSSSSSS!! ~!@#$%^&* now, i dun wanna talk abt my laptop. i wanna talk abt my contact lenses tt i bought from Queensway AZ Optics. i bought Encore lenses in Brown from there and when i wore it the next day for my boy’s commissioning ball, i took 2 hrs again to put both lenses in my eyes.  the effects are really like ang moh eyes lo. it’s nt 3D-looking and somehow, i look ang moh-ish tt night. -.-” but the lenses are really comfortable compared to acuvue define. i wore them for 10 hrs and my eyes still feels fine. (: but when i tried taking the lenses off, i spent another half an hr trying to take them off. my left eye especially, looks bloodshot and my lense do feels stuck on my cornea! dry lehhh. )): i noe i suck at putting and taking out contact lenses. but, who dunwan to to chio right? hahaha.

okays, i guess tt’s all i havta blog for now. next outing im looking forward to will be this fri, sat & sunday. We’ll be gg sentosa to stay over & play? haha. and my flea will be on sunday!! say YESSSSSSSSS to my flea okay? come and support me!!!! (((:

im back!

had my 21st birthday celebration a few days back and i really do hope it was a blast for my family & friends. (: thank you to all who came down specially for me, even ‘tho some left earlier! (: we had massive polaroid galore over dere and all of us jst gotta have at least one shot to bring home. (: one thing tt won me over with the instax camera was that the photo turnout was so nicee and prettaye than is was in person. HAHAHAHAHAH!!! but the films were damn exxxxxxxx sia. $13 for a pack of 10 films. gotta save from now on. hehe.

Orange Cafe was a really nice place but somehow my boy mentioned that it somehow lacks something, ‘cos the pple were scattered and the activities were limited. ): plus, every one commented tt the catered food sucks! jia lat la, this is how i treated my family & friends in return for their kindness in attending my party & for their prezzies. )): BUT, my birthday cake was niceeeeee & yummilicious!! PREMIUM DURIAN CAKE from emicakes leh. wa, it tasted simpy like D24 lo. all my friends praised my cake. hahaha. but the cake doesn;t come cheap ‘tho. $132 ler. but got 10% discount la, cos my dearest aunt paid for it using her card. (: anyhows, this is the yr i’ve received the most number of presents and ang pows amount was greater than before!! (((: gave my mom $100 for her contributions to my celebration. she looked so happy loo. haha. pictures will be up provided i’m not lazy to upload la. haha. :p

and tmr will be my boy’s commissioning dinner at The Jewel Box @ Mount Faber. i haven gotten myself a nice gown/dress yet? no idea wad to wear lo. and my makeup how? i’m not an expert in makeup but also not really a noob at it. my skills still can pass lo. i dun think i can stand out among the rest of the ladies on stage tmr. =/ plus tt shitty and ugly scar on my left kneecap ruin evrything. haiiiiii. ))): and my boy oso nt sure if he wanna get a suit for tmr anot. if he does, he will be spending money again. ): both of us gotta save up for our overseas trip de lo. sooo, 1st July faster come soooonnn, then gov will put $200 in our bank account. muahahahhaha.

and… i wanna cut my fringe laaa!! u noe those side swept fringe which looks really soft and feminine? but i dunoe which salon to go nia. ): plus, i wanna get Majorlica Masara the Frame plus one & colored contact lenses!! all by tmr!! see if i can get my hands on these items later on!

jst a quick update over the last month. i’ve only been working as a temp beauty advisor for shu uemura and tt’s the only source of income tt i get. ): despite the mass resumes sent to various companies, none actually replied to my email. ): i doubt my remaining 2 mths holiday i’ll be working too. haha.

FLEA

i’ve also signed up for flea market to sell off my brand new and 2nd hand (as good as new!) stuffs. i’ll be pricing my stuff real cheap!! afterall, it’s a flea market wad!! i jst wanna sell off my items at low prices affordable to all. so i dun see any point in selling ur items at a price like $20 and above for a top, unless it’s branded la. plus i doubt customers will bring like a whole truckloads of cash with them to the flea too ma. haha. anyways, my pricing will most likely range from:

- tops: $3-$15

- bags: $10-$35 (think Chanel chain slingbag, Inspired Loewe handcarry bag , LV Vintage handcarry/slingbag & more!)

- accessories: handmade earrings, necklaces, rings: $2-$12

i went for Kovan Superstar’09 Singing audition this afternoon. I was really nervous but managed to sing without “po ying”. haha. i sang in “jia ying” once i reached my chorus, and i myself noe tt i suck at it too. ): nevertheless, one of the judge commented tt he liked that i sang with emotions and feelings. haha. i knew tt too. muahahahha!! but… he added that i like “bu gou qi” during my chorus. ended up i got “da guo nian” all 4 oranges lifted up = OUT! no more chances for me in the semi. haha. jiahui did the best amongst all 4 of us. she got 2 oranges & 2 greens. hopefully she’ll be selected into the semis! well, the judges’ expectations were really high. so all the best to winnie, jz & brandon tmr! (:

and lastly, this coming sunday will be my 21st birthday party at JTC Summit Orange Cafe! *wheeeeee* can’t wait for my day to come. haha. i’ve been planning for it since long time ago. been buying party stuff (balloons, stickers, props) and designing my birthday invitation card. i’ve attached my 2 diff designs of the card here.

the 1st one is my 1st design and i think the background color is really catchy and hot! but it doesnt really suit my theme.

i felt happy today, because  finally get to meet my closest sec friends – huai yeek & phylicia after 4 longgg years!

it was huai yeek’s 21st belated birthday over at orange cafe today and it was really amazing to me in my opinion lah. the facilities there was not too bad but the food was somewhat a little disappointment, since there was not enough to cater to 30 guests. plus the food was normal which cost $15 per pax? mmm. i think the management shld reconsider their food choices and their prices. anyhows, i enjoyed myself today cos i get to sing for 3-4 hours straight tgt with phylicia? hahaha. we hogged the mike and sang all the way. it feels like we were hostess haha :p

the birthday gal was as usual very sweet and demure in her colorblock dress with white cardigan over her. (: can’t wait to see both her and phylicia next month – my 21st birthday! hahaha!! guess wad? after the few days of headahe over where to hold my birthday celebration, hotel or resorts/chalets,

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!

I went plaza sing to get my stuff for scrapbooking ‘cos i jst started on it.

Although it really requires lots of patience and effort to complete a scrapbook, it really gives u a sense of satisfaction upon completion. i made my1st scrapbook (jst 1 page la) and gave it to aunty amy as a mother day’s gift. it’s supposed to be a gift from both joel and me, since joel is not here to celebrate with his mother. ): nevertheless, i hope she love it ‘cos it’s handmade by yours truly! my first virgin experience in scrapbooking. (:

Even though scrapbooking is an expensive hobby, i reckon i will only do it for special occasions, such as for families and friends’ birthday, ‘cos these ppl are definitely worth my time and effort! (:

I jst started watching this korean drama – Which Star Are You From? It’s a really nice and funny drama. The actress is sooooo pretty that I can jst keep on staring at her whole day. hahaha. she’s a real natural beauty. i guess i already have a secret crush on her. shittt. haha.

Chawanmushi (:

I finally made my 1st chawanmushi! Went plaza sing to get 4 japanese mini cups and 1 set of mini spoons. Researched online for a few recipes and I took the simplest way out in making it. hehe. the taste was really SALTY to the max. dont’ be fooled by the egg chawanmushi appearance! it was wayyy too hard, all becos I didn’t add in any water. haha. i believe that my chawanmushi can be used to throw at pple already. hahaha! :p

anyways, i’m gonna have my 2nd attempt in making chawanmushi tmr! hopefully it’ll be better! (:

darling flew off to Thailand for his jungle training this evening. for 17 days. will be back on 17th may. it’s still sucha longgg wait. awwww. ): even though sometimes u’ve been hot or cold towards me, i will still definitely miss you my boy. come home soon!! i’ll be waiting for you!! (:

went sentosa ytd with my friends. i didn’t get tanned at all! whoot!! (: borrowed neutrogena sunblock from my fren and applied loads of it all over my body and i must say im REALLY impressed with it! no sticky or oily feeling and the texture is really good! absolutely perfect for a day out to the beach or for holidays! i’m gonna lay my hands on it once i work! (: i think the product is also classified as one of CLEO’s beauty awards too! took truck loads of photos with my friends. haha. this is only 1 of our group photos!

this post is totally random haha. anyways, F.A.S.T set of shampoo and conditioner has NO effects on me! what great reviews by many users who’ve tried it. BULLSHIT. my hair is short and despite using it for 12 days, i don’t see myself spotting longer and more beautiful hair? wasted my $26. argghh! plus the set made my hair texture more dry can! i will definitely not repurchase it again! this product simply sucks. but again, this is jst my own opinion cos it may not work for me but it may work for you.

i feel like coloring my hair again. yes, again. this time round, i want to dye it either to chestnut or dark chocolate brown. (: no more highlighting in my life. well, hair coloring is like a never-ending process. once you dyed, you can’t stop the cycle, unless you decided to dye ur hair black. mmm. i also wanna lay my hands on whitening products. not sure which brand is good ‘tho. kose new whitening range seems interesting enough to me. (:

a day well spent! went to k at topone with my friends from 11.30am-6pm. it’s been sucha long time singing alr. will always learn of some new and nice songs everytime i went k with them. today is no exception. jst downloaded 3 nice songs. really nice. (: mmm. after which, we all went to the ramen outlet at the central. 1 bowl of spicy ramen for $15 inclusive of gst and service charge. i can only afford it with 2 hrs of work. haha. we went to liang court mac to have ice cream for a ‘lil while. wed is our sentosa outing day. can’t wait! no tanning for me please.. gonna wrap myself up and apply sun protection all over my body and face. hahaha!

baby is gg off to thailand for his jungle training in 3 days time. this time, he’ll be gone for 16 days! really can’t bear to see him go off, leaving me all alone here myself. ): i will definitely miss him terribly! ): i wonder what will i achieve/accomplish after he’s back. perhaps i should jst start reading some books, such as Dan brown’s angels and demons. (:

i’ve been sending resume in hope of finding temp job but to no avail. i seriously need to start work soon. i would very much prefer cosmetic beauty advisor/fragrance promoter in town. either that or pre-school assistant teacher. my expected rate per hour is $7 and above. tt’s the market rate for uni students ba. Lord, please show me the way!! (:
